PACE adopted the first document defining criterion of “political prisoner”

Relevant Commission of the Azerbaijani Parliament made a statement against the resolution of the European Parliament (EP) on Ramil Safarov. APA reports that the statement was adopted after the voting. The statement expresses regret to the EP resolution. International conference on “Construction of Bridges” has started in Baku. The conference was organized by the Association of Civil Society Development in Azerbaijan (AVCIYA). Chairman of AVCIYA, MP Elkhan Suleymanov delivered a keynote speech and spoke about the democratization process in Azerbaijan in recent years and cooperation processes with Europe.
