The second stage of trainings has been completed in western region

The “ELS” Independent Research Center had conducted trainings for interviewers and supervisors that are going to participate on “Exit – Poll” surveys conducted at the territories of Goranboy, Ganja, Goy – Gol, Shamkir, Agstafa, Gazakh, Tovuz and Gadabay regions during October 2 – 5. The training organized in second stage was conducted on October 2 in Ganja and Goranboy. On this training there was given information to the participants about the context of the “Exit – Poll” planned to be conducted during the October 15 presidential elections.

At the same time on the training there was presented explanation by the trainer about the rules of conducting the survey. The forms of relevant documents going to be used on “Exit – Poll” were presented to participants and the participants were informed about the mechanisms of how to deal with these documents. The questions that were interesting for participants during the training process were answered by the trainer.

On October 3 the interviewers and supervisors in Nizami, Kapaz and Goy – gol had joined to trainings at the resource center of the Association for Civil Society Development in Azerbaijan in Ganja.

Although the second stage of the trainings was appointed to October 4 the training conducted in Gadabay was cancelled for some reasons. However the training in Shamkir was conducted successfully.

On October 5 there was organized a training for interviewers and supervisors going to participate on “Exit – Poll” at Aghstafa, Gazakh and Tovuz regions. The participants were also informed on this training about “Exit – Poll” and the ways of conducting it. Also participants were told about eradication of problems occurred on the voting day during “Exit – Poll” by the trainers Elchin Salmanov and Samir Sadayev.

It should be added that the observers are going to conduct “Quick – count” survey were also participated at the trainings and they were also informed about the of implementation of this survey.
