The first stage of the trainings conducted by the ELS Independent Research Center concerning the “Exit – poll” survey planned to be implemented on the voting day together with the Association for Civil Society Development in Azerbaijan had completed. At the first stage of trainings on the “exit – poll” survey that is going to be conducted in all the territory of the country at all constituencies and polling stations had participated more than 100 interviewers and 200 supervisors. The interviewers and supervisors were informed about the “exit – poll” and the ways of how to conduct it.
Besides, at the training the participants became familiar with the forms of questionnaires to be used during the “exit – poll”. At the first stage of trainings the trainers didn’t face any serious problems. In several regions some of the interviewers were substituted with the others from reserve as their age and external appearance do not fit to requirements. Also the representatives of the OSCE Baku office Jose Luis Menendez and Botagoz Abilova participated at the trainings and they were satisfied with the level of organization of trainings. The chairwoman of the ELS Independent Research Center Mrs. Irada Yagubova had also joined to the first stage of the trainings and gave her recommendations to interviewers and supervisors concerning the ways of conducting the “exit – poll”.
It should be mentioned that the first stage of the trainings had completed on September 22 and after the final list of candidates is approved the second stage of trainings will be started on September 27.
